Care

Our church family seeks to care for one another through life’s joys and sorrows.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.”
Ephesians 4:15

The church is meant to be a family of people who care for one another as we experience life’s joys and sorrows and struggle with the remaining sin in our hearts. Our South Cities Church Plan for Care outlines how care happens here.

In times of more intense brokenness of suffering or sin, often more focused care is needed. To meet this need, we have:

  • Care Partners: Our trained Care Partners are available to listen, pray, encourage, and walk alongside you in a difficult time.

  • Support groups offered occasionally

  • Marriage enrichment events/groups

  • We can also help connect you with resources outside the church when that is needed.
