Welcome

Members of our welcome team will greet you at the doors as you enter the building. There will also be someone at the Welcome Desk inside the front entrance to answer your questions, help you check your kids into nursery (if you wish to do that), or direct you around the building.

Plan to arrive a few minutes before services starts if you’d like to check kids into the nursery. But if you run late, don’t worry—we know how it is! Someone will be at the Welcome Desk to welcome you and help you with whatever you need. An usher will also be available to help you locate a seat.

We love kids! Children of all ages are welcome in all parts of our worship service. We also have nursery available for children aged 0–4 years. The nursery is located right inside the East (back) entrance of the building. If you enter through the West (front) doors, you can take the stairs located on your left up to the second floor and find the nursery check-in desk at the end of the hallway.

Five & six year-olds will have the option to leave the worship service before the sermon starts to attend South Cities Kids, where there they will participate in their own sermon discussion, pray together, and do a craft or fun activity.

If you would like to join us for Sunday School at 9am, we have nursery available and classes for children of all ages.

We are located in Lakeville, just off of I-35 and north of Hwy 70. Our address is 20700 Kenrick Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044.

Our worship service begins at 10:30am and Sunday School begins at 9am.

The music at South Cities is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. We sing older hymns and newer songs. We are blessed by this combination and hope you will be, too.

We sing several songs, offer prayers of praise and confession to God, hear and read Scripture, give our offerings and tithes, receive communion, and hear the preaching of the Word.

The pastor’s sermon usually lasts around 35 minutes and focuses on a particular biblical passage.

Russian speakers are invited to listen to a translation of the sermon during the service. Headsets are available at the Welcome Desk.
